“Tamarack’s reputation as a pioneer in high quality aerospace engineering products has contributed greatly to Idaho’s status as a destination for trailblazers in the industry. I am proud to select Tamarack as this month’s Small Business of the Month and sincerely congratulate all of its employees for their remarkable example of entrepreneurial innovation.”
Following twenty-five years of experience in the aerospace industry, including time spent as an aerospace engineer, a safety consultant and as a test pilot, Nicholas Guida founded Tamarack Aerospace Group in 2010.

Their product, ATLAS, actively reduces the load placed on each wing of an aircraft and aircraft equipped with this technology, as a result, have lower operating costs, as well as increased fuel efficiency and life of the aircraft’s wings.
Tamarack was recently named a winner of the 61 st Annual Laureate Award by Aviation Week & Space Technology for their innovation and leadership in the aviation industry.
They will be representing Idaho internationally at the Singapore Airshow next month, showcasing their new technological innovations in collaboration with the Idaho Department of Commerce’s exhibit at the airshow.
The Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship oversees proposed legislation on matters relating to entrepreneurship and provides oversight of the Small Business Administration.
The committee also researches, investigates and reports all problems relating to America’s small businesses to the full Senate. As Chairman, Risch honors America’s small businesses and entrepreneurs in the Senate each month.
