Washington, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Jim Risch (R-Idaho), member and former chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, has selected Hanson Garage of Orofino as the Idaho Small Business of the Month for October 2019. Hanson Garage will be recognized in the Congressional Record of the U.S. Senate.
Hanson Garage was founded more than 100 years ago by Hans “Pete” Hanson, and has seen three generations of leadership by the Hanson family. The garage, which specializes in selling and repairing vehicles, ATVs, and motorcycles, has been recognized numerous times for its exceptional sales and customer service. Orofino locals can agree that Hanson Garage is a staple in the community, and brothers Keith and Larry Hanson who now run the business attribute the garage’s success to its consistent fair prices and superior customer service.
“I would like to extend a well-deserved congratulations to Keith and Larry Hanson and all of the employees of Hanson Garage for being selected as the October 2019 Idaho Small Business of the Month,” said Risch. “You make our great State proud, and I look forward to watching your continued growth and success.”
Background: Each month, Senator Risch selects an Idaho small business that exemplifies the Idaho values of hard work, entrepreneurial spirit, and exceptional commitment to community.
