We’ve all heard the old saying “too many cooks in the kitchen.”
Well. . . now, there are too many bureaucrats in the kitchen, and if the administration has it their way, soon there won’t be any chefs in the kitchen either.
The Biden administration has taken aim not once, but twice, at the gas stoves that feed millions of families every day. Gas stoves are the normal operating procedure for many of us, and, in fact, are the preference for most of America’s chefs.
Last month, the Biden administration had to walk back a threat to ban gas stoves.
This month, Biden’s Department of Energy has proposed cherry-picked energy consumption standards.
In other words, the administration wrote in a loophole to ban gas stoves that fail to meet their ridiculous standards.
I joined Senator Tom Cotton in introducing the Stop Trying to Obsessively Vilify Energy or STOVE Act last week to prevent the administration from moving forward with any attempt to ban gas stoves.
This administration must roll back their obsessive federal overreach into your kitchen appliances.
