WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Jim Risch, senior member and former chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, announced the selection of Greyloch, LLC in Star as the Idaho Small Business of the Month for May 2024. Greyloch, LLC will be recognized for its contribution to Idaho in the Congressional record of the U.S. Senate.
“Greyloch, LLC is testament to Idaho’s entrepreneurial spirit. Shaun Fickes started Greyloch in a garage, and it now occupies over 96,000 square feet in Star,” said Risch.“Named after a peak near Lowman, where Shaun’s grandfather worked as an Idaho forest ranger, Greyloch is a first-of-its-kind cabinet manufacturing facility in North America. Shaun and his four children own and operate the business while employing 73 people, all of whom are proud of the work they do for Idaho.”
Idaho is consistently ranked one of the best places in the country to do business. Each month, Senator Risch selects an Idaho small business that exemplifies the Idaho values of hard work, entrepreneurial spirit, and exceptional commitment to community.
