Washington, DC - U.S. Senator Jim Risch has hired Brianne Miller to serve as his legislative assistant on energy policy.  Miller comes to Risch's office after 7 years of experience on Capitol Hill – most recently as legislative director to Congressman Doc Hastings of Washington.

"Brianne's experience in the energy arena, particularly in working with DOE's Hanford site, is a natural fit for Idaho.  It will allow her to step right in and move forward the policies and issues critical to Idaho in my work on the Energy Committee," said Risch.

"I am excited to assist Senator Risch in his service to Idahoans and look forward to working on issues important to the state," said Miller.

Miller is a graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, with degrees in finance and multinational business.
