Washington, DC- U.S. Senator Jim Risch has hired Barbara Strickfaden to serve as his Constituent Services Director in Washington, D.C.
Strickfaden will assist the Senator in handling contacts with Idahoans in his Washington office including incoming calls, office visits and Idahoans meeting with the Senator on Capitol Hill. She will also oversee the college internship program along with ensuring Capitol flag orders, tour requests and other needs by Idahoans are met.
"Barbara has a proven track record of service to Idaho. She was a great asset when I was in the governor's office and I'm glad to have her help in Washington, D.C.," Risch said.
In addition to serving as then-Governor Risch's Deputy Chief of Staff, Strickfaden has worked with the Idaho State Legislature and as President/CEO of both the Coeur d'Alene Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Idaho Bankers Association. She is an Idaho native, born in Salmon.
