Washington, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Jim Risch today met with Admiral James Caldwell, Director of the Naval Reactors Program for the United States Navy, to welcome him to the role and express the importance of the Naval Reactors Facility to the Idaho National Lab.

 “The Naval Reactors Facility at the INL is vital to the future of our nuclear Navy and our national security overall,” said Risch.  “After meeting with Admiral Caldwell today in Washington I am confident that the future of the program is in very capable hands.”
