WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Jim Risch (R-Idaho), member and former chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, has selected R & H Machine, Inc. of Caldwell as the Idaho Small Business of the Month for December 2019. R & H Machine will be recognized in the Congressional Record of the U.S. Senate.
R & H Machine was founded in the 1950s in Washington State. Wheat farmers Ray and Arline Stueckle began welding and selling replacement farm equipment in an effort to supplement their income, and ended up building a business that serves farmers across the Pacific Northwest. Today, the company is owned and operated in Caldwell by Ray and Arline’s daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Dave Organ. Together, the Organs have made R & H Machine an exemplary family owned business that prides itself on upholding the founder’s commitment to providing farmers with the best deals on superior products.
“Congratulations to Dave and Kathy Organ and all of the employees at R & H Machine, Inc. for being selected as the Idaho Small Business of the Month for December 2019,” said Risch. “You make our great State proud, and I look forward to your continued growth and success.”
Background: Each month, Senator Risch selects an Idaho small business that exemplifies the Idaho values of hard work, entrepreneurial spirit, and exceptional commitment to community.
