Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Sen. Jim Risch (R-Idaho), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, spoke with Fox News’ Sandra Smith on America’s Newsroom about ongoing threats from Iran and threats to U.S. security and interests globally.

“America constantly – 24 hours a day – works on preparedness, works on plans, and those are molded by what’s happening in a different place in the world at any one time,” Sen. Risch said. He went on, “This president is very focused on protecting Americans and American interests around the world. He has a great team in place that analyzes what the threats are and as threats arise or [when] potential threats rear their ugly head.”
