Washington, DC – Idaho Senator Jim Risch issued this statement following the ruling by a Florida federal judge today that said key parts of the health care reform law are unconstitutional.

 “Today’s ruling is a significant step in rolling back the health care law that was forced on the American people last year. As I’ve said from the beginning, the federal government has no right to force Americans to purchase health insurance. We need to start over and reform our health care system in a way that reconnects the doctor and patient while removing the government from this highly personal issue.”
